Do you wanna build a snowman?

The boys and girls in room 9 built snowmen. Not with snow though! We used rice, socks and a few other things to build our snowmen.

Room 9 along with boys and girls from Rooms 5 and 6 put on a production of the Nativity "A Miracle in Town".

Compliment Bug Party

We had another compliment bug party after getting our 10 compliment bugs! We had a great day! :)

A tale of two stories.

On Wednesday we went to the town hall to see a play called 'A tale of two stories'. We saw some fantastic acting and really enjoyed our trip!

Story Nana

We visited the story room where Story Nana read us some really interesting stories. We really enjoyed them!

Dance

Over the last few weeks we have had dance classes with Caroline. We did lots of different dances. We even made up some dances if our own!

Pinch pots

We began making our pinch pots using clay. We are going to leave them to dry, paint and then glaze them. We will have our very own pinch pots!

Halloween!

We all dressed up for Halloween. There were lots of brilliant costumes and characters in school today!

Cheerio Childline breakfast morning

The girls and boys in room 9, along with the rest of the school,  took part in the Cheerio breakfast morning, raising money for childlibe. We all had Cheerios. They were delicious!

Compliment Bug Party!

The boys and girls from Room 9 had a compliment bug party on Monday as they received 10 compliment bugs! We played games and had our very own cinema in the classroom! We had a super day! Well done boys and girls! :) 

Art inspired by Rothko

We painted our own pieces based on Rothko's work. He used rectangular shapes in his later paintings.
