Dance, dance, dance

Today we put on our dancing shoes with our new dance instructor! We learned a new dance on our first day and had lots of fun.

Science Ireland show

Today was a great day at school. We went to a science show at school. We saw lots of interesting demonstrations. There were so many good ones but we all really liked the rocket!

Friendship week games..

We had fun today working together to unravel ourselves from our friendship knot! It wasn't easy but here we have the winning group!

Robin Hood

Today we got to see a very special performance of Robin Hood at our school. It was BRILLIANT!

Happy Valentine's day everyone! This week we celebrate Valentine's day and friendship week at school. We made valentine's day cards and heart shaped necklaces!we think they look pretty great.

10 @ 10....

Today we participated in Operation Transformation's 10 @ 10 in the school yard. It was a cold morning but we soon warmed up!!

Mixing experiment

We mixed coffee, rice, sugar, salt and ice with cold water. We already knew what would happen with the oil because we made lava lamps in science week but its always fun to do an experiment twice!!

A safe trip to the library!

Today we walked to the town library. We used our ears and our eyes to watch for traffic and crossed at safe places like the pedestrian crossings. We sang the safe cross code as we went. We have been learning about road safety in class so it was good to put it into practice. Lastly, we arrived at the library and read some books. We were really lucky to have a story read to us! We had a great day!!
